Principle of Thermal Resistance Testing
Using direct current simulation heat source method, apply stable heating power on the radiator table; When the system reaches thermal steady state, measure the reference surface temperature of the heat source and the temperature of the cooling medium, and calculate the thermal resistance of the radiator.
-Clarify the location of temperature measurement reference points, focus on revisions in the new version, and reduce the deviation of results between different testing platforms
-Differentiation: Heat sink body thermal resistance, device heat sink interface thermal resistance, total thermal resistance
-Boundary conditions: fluid flow rate/wind speed, medium temperature, and ambient temperature must be fixed and recorded in the report
Principle of flow resistance (wind resistance/water resistance) testing
At a constant fluid temperature, adjust the flow rate and measure the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the radiator to obtain the pressure difference flow curve.
-Air cooling: measurement of air duct, flow/wind speed, and pressure difference at specified measurement points upstream and downstream of the radiator
-Water cooling: water circuit, pressure differential sensor, pay attention to stable exhaust and medium temperature, avoid the influence of bubbles
Definition of flow resistance: The pressure loss (\ Delta P \) generated by the fluid passing through the radiator body, excluding external pipelines and joint resistance testing, which requires deduction of pipeline pressure difference
