Customized according to customer requirements and relevant testing standards, the tested filtered water is not subjected to a shaking and squeezing test by manually squeezing fingers. Instead, it simulates outdoor usage conditions, undergoing a durability test with specified squeezing pressure and opening and closing angles. Through a motion mechanism, the squeezing action is simulated, and the bottle body is tested by periodically squeezing and swinging the angle for a set period of time while inhaling test water. Under the control of a customized claw hand, the system is set to automatically control the water filling and squeezing actions of the tested bottle. The entire equipment system is controlled by a PLC program and consists of a customized chassis, claw hand mechanism, squeezing bottle, water replenishment device, and swinging mechanism.  


The core testing content of the outdoor direct drinking sports water bottle extrusion testing platform revolves around three dimensions: sealing and leak prevention, structural compression resistance, and cyclic durability, covering static, dynamic, and multi-scenario simulations.


Test content


- Sealing and leakproof performance


- Static pressure leakage: Apply positive/negative pressure and monitor the pressure decay and leakage rate within a specified time period.


- Inverted/tilted leakage: Fix in a 180° inverted position or a 45° tilted position, and apply pressure to verify if there is any leakage from the straw, exhaust valve, and cover seams.


- Seal durability: Measure the compression set and resilience of the sealing ring under constant load to evaluate the long-term sealing reliability.


- Temperature-pressure coupling: simulating the sealing stability under cold and hot environments


- Structural compressive strength and deformation


- Static compressive test: measure the maximum compressive strength, yield deformation, and residual deformation


- Cyclic pressure fatigue: ≥1000 cycles within the range of 0–300N, assessing the fatigue resistance of the cup body and lid


- Creep and relaxation: The deformation rate under constant load for 10 hours is ≤0.5%, assessing the dimensional stability under long-term load


- Drop/Impact: Conduct a drop test from a height of 1.2–1.5m or subject to an impact from a 5J drop hammer, and inspect for cracks and deformations


- Environmental and material adaptability


- Temperature and humidity tolerance: capable of operating within a temperature range of -20℃ to 80℃ with a change in compressive strength of ≤10%


- Chemical resistance: acid and alkali immersion, solvent penetration, assessing material leaching and corrosion risks


- UV aging: After 500 hours of exposure, the intensity decay is ≤5%, suitable for outdoor exposure scenarios


- National/Industry Standards: GB/T 30230-2013 (Safety of Sports Water Bottles), GB/T 1041-2008 (Compression Testing of Plastics), GB/T 1843-2008

- International standards: ISO 604 (plastic compression), ASTM D695 (plastic compressive strength), ASTM D256 (plastic impact)


- Core devices: Universal material testing machine, pressure leak tester, environmental simulation chamber, drop/impact testing machine


- Accuracy requirements: pressure resolution of 0.1 kPa, deformation measurement accuracy of ±0.1 mm, load range covering 0–500 N


- Sealing: Leakage rate ≤ 0.1 mL/min, with no visible leakage within 30 minutes.


- Compressive resistance: residual deformation after unloading ≤2mm, no structural failure after ≥1000 cycles.


- Safety: No cracking or sharp fragments after drop/impact, compliant for food contact
