The acoustic performance of the semi anechoic chamber meets the following standards
IEC 60704-1:2010 Household and similar electrical appliances Test rules for determination of airborne noise
ISO 3745 Acoustics - Determination of Sound Power Levels of Noise Sources - Semi anechoic Chamber and Semi anechoic Chamber Precision Method;
GB 6882-86 Determination of Sound Power Levels of Acoustic Noise Sources - Semi anechoic Chamber and Semi anechoic Chamber Precision Method Standard
The main function of the semi anechoic chamber in ISO 7779 equipment air noise testing standard is to eliminate the interface sound reflection of the sound source, that is, to form a free sound field in the semi anechoic chamber. To achieve this, it is necessary to install a strong sound absorbing material and a sound absorbing wedge.
This scheme adopts a sharp split sound absorption structure. Environmentally friendly sound-absorbing materials are selected, which do not absorb moisture, have strong hydrophobicity, are well formed, have uniform density, have low dispersion of sound-absorbing performance, and are fire-resistant materials. The sharp split is a two split structure, with a cold drawn steel wire skeleton. After welding inside the mold, the surface is sprayed with rust prevention treatment. The sharp edged finish is made of fire-resistant gray mesh. To increase the sound absorption of the wedge structure at low frequencies, a certain cavity is reserved during the installation of the wedge. The cavity size is determined based on the optimal cavity size obtained during the selection test of the wedge.
